Wedding Photography 2017

Choosing your wedding photographer is not always an easy task, but hopefully it will be a fun experience. There are many factors to consider and so many photographers and styles to choose from. It's not only a question of quality, styles or cost but will your photographer capture your wedding day the way you feel reflects your spirit and lifestyle. And can you and your photographer work well together? Often your photographer is your most costly budget item so you'll want to choose carefully. You'll need to invest some time researching what each photographer has to offer. Referrals are a good place to start but you should still invest some time doing your own research. Researching all the webs sites and compiling a short list is a wise start and will let you see all the possibilities as well. You may not know exactly what it is you need or even what you want until after you've done some research on your own.

I employ a methodology that works well for me. Wedding photography is the most important photography I do. Baby portraits and family portraits important as they are can always be redone if necessary. That's not possible with every wedding photo so it's important to me that I have backups for my backups and always come over equipped for weddings. I put contingency plans in place for all the likely problems we might encounter, including weather.  For me a pre-wedding shoot is very important. It gives me time to study my clients before the wedding so that I know the best angle and light to ensure the best results. It also gives us time to get to know each other better so we don't feel like strangers on the wedding day. For most wedding packages I will become the person you will consult with many times before, during, and after your wedding. I like to do at least one meeting/interview and photo session along with several follow up phone calls and messages before the rehearsal. I also like to scout out the wedding location prior to the wedding with one or both of you if possible. You will not be required to sign a contract until you are fully satisfied you've made the correct decision and only after our first meetings and photo shoot. Even should you choose someone else always feel free to call me for my opinion or advice on anything photography related. Good luck with your search and congratulations on your engagement! Hopefully you'll come back here and find me your best option :).

I am also an award winning fine art photographer who prints and sells my work locally and abroad. My work is displayed on the walls of many fine art collectors and public buildings. I teach photography workshops and love woodworking as well as long walks in the woods around lake Wabamun with my camera and pet dogs "Coco" and "Shadow".

Message or call me for further details :).
